Thought-Reading is a scholarly work, published in 1881 in ''Nature''. The main subjects of the publication include head, art, reading, courtesy, History of neuroscience, and forehead. Beard of New York I had the opportunity of witnessing some interesting experiments in artificial trance performed on one of his trained patients, thought-reading being one of the phases exhibited.
