The visual component to saccadic compression

The visual component to saccadic compression is a scholarly work by Eckart Zimmermann, Maria Concetta Morrone, and David Charles Burr, published in 2014 in ''Journal of Vision''. The main subjects of the publication include neuroscience, computer science, artificial intelligence, eye movement, Saccadic suppression of image displacement, saccade, psychology, computer vision, visual perception, face perception, and Saccadic masking. Visual objects presented around the time of saccadic eye movements are strongly mislocalized towards the saccadic target, a phenomenon known as "saccadic compression." Here authors show that perisaccadic compression is modulated by the presence of a visual saccadic target.
