The evolving definition of Concussion over time
The evolving definition of Concussion over time is a scholarly work, published in 2018 in ''Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport''. The main subjects of the publication include medicine, computer science, psychology, concussion, traumatic brain injury, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and population. Therefore, the aims of this study are to a) systematically examine the evolution of the definition for concussion, b) understand why changes were made over time and report, c) what is the currently used definition, and d) propose recommendations for improvement.
