Surrey River
The Surry River, sometimes incorrectly spelled as the Surrey River, a perennial river of the Glenelg Hopkins catchment, is located in the Western [District |Western District] of Victoria, Australia.
Location and features
The Surry River rises on the northern slopes of Mount Kincaid, north of and flows generally east through the extensive Cobboboonee Forest Park, joined by one minor tributary before reaching its mouth and emptying into Portland Bay of the Southern Ocean at. The river descends over its course.The river is traversed by the Henty Highway north of and the Princes Highway near Narrawong.
