Supriya Ganesh


Supriya Ganesh is an American actress. She is known for her role as Dr. Samira Mohan on the HBO Max medical drama television series The Pitt.

Early life

Ganesh was born in the United States to Tamil parents from India. At the age of three, she and her family moved to New Delhi. She attended Pathways School in Noida, where she was the valedictorian of her graduating class in 2015. She later graduated from Columbia University with a degree in neuroscience and a minor in gender studies.

Career

While a student, Ganesh began auditioning for acting roles. She made her screen debut on the CBS series Blue Bloods in 2018. She planned on attending medical school before being cast in The Pitt, however, she continued to work as an MCAT tutor throughout the airing of its first season. She starred as Vaidehi in the world premiere of Deepak Kumar's House of India at the Old Globe Theatre in May 2025.

In May 2025, Ganesh came out as queer. She uses she/they pronouns.
