Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Al-Buraimi

The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is a Friday mosque in Al-Buraimi, in the Sultanate of Oman; and the largest mosque in Al-Buraimi.

Overview

The Grand Mosque was opened on 10 December 1993 and is named in honor of the former Sultan of Oman, Qaboos bin Said Al Said. The mosque has an area of and can accommodate 2,016 worshipers, including 252 women.
