Sulfonamide hypersensitivity syndrome
Sulfonamide hypersensitivity syndrome is similar to anticonvulsant hypersensitivity syndrome, but the onset is often sooner in the treatment course, generally after 7–14 days of therapy.
It is considered immune-mediated.
