Stappia
Stappia is a genus of bacteria in the order Hyphomicrobiales. Some members of the genus oxidize carbon monoxide aerobically. Stappia indica is a diatom associated bacterium which is known to inhibit the growth of diatoms such as Thalassiosira pseudonana.
