St. Joseph College of Communication
St Joseph College of Communication, Changanassery, is the first university affiliated media college in South India and was founded in August 2004. It is a Christian minority self-financing education institution affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. The college is first of its kind in South India hosting more than 1000 students in 6 undergraduate and 4 postgraduate career oriented programs in media studies, animation, graphic design and mass communication.
The college offers Bachelor and Master of Arts university degrees in animation,graphic design, cinema and television, print and electronic journalism, Interior Architecture & Artistry, [visual effects, Sound Design and Visual Editing and more.

History
St Joseph College of Communication affiliated to MG University was established in August 2004 and formally inaugurated by Oommen Chandy, the Chief Minister of Kerala, in the presence of the founder, Archbishop Emeritus Mar Joseph Powathil, on 2 July 2005.Project Media Village was dedicated to the nation by former President of India A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

Many hold key positions in multinational companies like Google, Amazon, and Infosys in roles such as animators, VFX artists, and UI/UX designers.SJCC alumni are widely present in major cities across India and abroad, including the Gulf countries, USA, UK, and Canada. The college's alumni association has active chapters in Bangalore and Kochi.
