Softball has been occasionally held at the SEA Games for both men and women.
History
Softball debuted at the SEA Games in the 1979 edition.The Philippines has dominated both the men's and women's tournament. Editions on which the Philippines did not win the men's title was in 1997 and 2019. The Philippines won all women's title.
