Soda Bay is a census-designated place in Lake County, California. It is located on Clear Lake east-southeast of Lakeport, at an elevation of. The population was 1,163 at the 2020 census.
A resort at the place, called Soda Bay Springs, could by 1910 accommodate 150 guests.

The 2020 United States census reported that Soda Bay had a population of 1,163. The population density was. The racial makeup of Soda Bay was 843 White, 28 African American, 33 Native American, 30 Asian, 0 Pacific Islander, 100 from other races, and 129 from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 182 persons.The whole population lived in households. There were 524 households, out of which 91 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 195 were married-couple households, 42 were cohabiting couple households, 152 had a female householder with no partner present, and 135 had a male householder with no partner present. 213 households were one person, and 111 were one person aged 65 or older.
