Soběslavice


Soběslavice is a municipality and village in Liberec District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants.

Administrative division

Soběslavice consists of two municipal parts :
  • Soběslavice
  • Padařovice

Geography

Soběslavice is located about south of Liberec. It lies in the Jičín Uplands. The highest point is at above sea level.

History

The first written mention of Soběslavice is from 1536.

Transport

There are no railways or major roads passing through the municipality.

Sights

The main landmark of Soběslavice is the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk. It was probably built in 1831, but it is equipped with a bell from 1772.
