It is found in India, China Thailand, Japan, and Sri Lanka. as well as in the afrotropics, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Togo, Mali, Nigeria, Zambia, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, South Africa, Eswatini, (including Comoros & Madagascar.
