Sholinganallur, also spelled Solinganalloor or Sozhinganalloor, is a southern suburb of Chennai, India.

Uthandi has a public beach that has been declared as a "turtle nesting site" where the endangered Olive Ridley turtles come to nest and lay their eggs.
