Sheri Elwood
Sheri Elwood is a Canadian-born television producer, director, and screenwriter. She has worked in Canadian and American television, including as a writer and executive producer on series such as Call Me Fitz, Lucifer, and Moonshine.
Elwood is based in Los Angeles and is married to screenwriter Dave Erickson.
Early career
Elwood studied fine art and cinema at Toronto Metropolitan University. She began her television career in the 1990s, writing for youth-oriented programming produced for Disney and Fox. Among her early credits was the science fiction series I Was a Sixth Grade Alien!, which aired for two seasons in the late 1990s.In 2000, Elwood wrote and directed her first feature film, Deeply, an independent romantic drama starring Kirsten Dunst and Lynn Redgrave.
Television work

Elwood created the dark comedy series Call Me Fitz for HBO Canada and the Audience Network. The series starred Jason Priestley and aired from 2010 to 2014. Elwood served as creator, writer, director, and executive producer.
