Shakib Ajwad Nasr


Shakib Ajwad Nasr was a leader of the Internal security forces and was previously a member of the Public Security Police in Tartus under the Assad regime.

Biography

Shakib Ajwad Nasr was part of the Public Security Police in Tartus while Bashar al-Assad was in power, carrying out reprisals against protesters. He was also involved with the Political Security Directorate in Qamishli.
Ajwad Nasr was briefly appointed commander in August 2025 by the Supreme Legal Committee in Suwayda for Internal security forces in Suwayda until he resigned from the post over a week later and was replaced by Shadi Fayez Murshid.
