The Seoul Museum of History is a history museum located at Sinmunno 1-ga, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea.
Description
The museum depicts the evolution of Seoul from the prehistoric period to the current day. It also hosts special exhibitions.The museum runs the online service Seoul History Archives. The website provides digitized museum materials to the public, free of charge. It offers materials for both non-commercial and commercial use.

History
The museum's building finished construction on 15 December 1993 in Gyeonghuigung Palace, although the museum did not open until 21 May 2002. It acquired the Chonggyecheon Museum on 1 January 2006., the museum's director is Kim Yong-seok.
