Seeta Maryam Margaret
Seeta Maryam Margaret is a 1978 Pakistani Urdu-language film directed by Hassan Tariq. It is written by Agha Hassan Imtisal with music composed by A. Hameed. It features Rani in the titular roles with Muhammad Ali, Talish, Nayyar Sultana, Qavi and Deeba in prominent roles with Shahid in a special appearance.
It was among the last films of Nayyar Sultana.
Plot
Safia abandons her new born twin baby girls on the road and attempts suicide in the river. Her daughters are taken away by two passerby; a Hindu man with no children — Bhagwan Daas and a Christian club owner — Mr. Nameless.Bhagwan Daas brings up the baby girl with his wife Lajwanti who loves her like her own child. They raise her according to the teachings of their religion and named her Seeta. At the age of 7–8, Seeta is found by her mother who then takes him away and raises her according to her religion, Islam. Her mother and uncle change her name to Maryam and make it clear on her that she has been rescued which creates confusion in her mind about her identity.
In the meantime, the popular dancer of Blue Moon Club Margaret is persuaded by Mr. Nameless to take advantage of the rich persons who visit her. Margaret, the twin sister of Maryam later falls for Rashid, Maryam's cousin who loves her. When Maryam discovers that she is her sister, she plans to switch places with her so that her sister can get the love for which she yearns.
