Securinine is an alkaloid found in Securinega suffruticosa and Phyllanthus niruri.

Pharmacology

Securinine has pro-convulsant effects and it has a strong spastic effect, similar to the actions of strychnine.
Securinine is a GABA-_A antagonist.
