Schladen-Werla
Schladen-Werla is a municipality in the district of Wolfenbüttel, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It was formed on 1 November 2013, when the municipalities of the former Samtgemeinde Schladen: Gielde, the town of Hornburg, Schladen proper, and Werlaburgdorf were merged.
Geography
The municipal area is located in the northern foothills of the Harz mountain range, stretching along the Oker river. It borders on the Lower Saxon district of Goslar in the southwest and on the state of Saxony-Anhalt in the southeast.The Schladen-Werla municipality comprises the localities of Beuchte, Gielde, Hornburg, Isingerode, Schladen,, and Werlaburgdorf. The administrative seat is at Schladen.
