Sarah Bool
Sarah Anne-Marie Bool is a British Conservative Party politician and lawyer who has been the Member of Parliament for South [Northamptonshire |South Northamptonshire] since 2024 [United Kingdom general election|2024].
Background
Bool grew up in Rutland and attended English Martyrs Primary School in Oakham and Stamford [High School, Lincolnshire|Stamford High School]. Her father, Ken Bool, was a member of Rutland County Council. She read Modern History at Oriel [College, Oxford] and completed a law conversion course at the College of Law in London before working as a solicitor. She has Type 1 diabetes.Political career
In the 2019 [United Kingdom general election|2019 general election] she stood as the Conservative candidate for Vauxhall, coming third behind Labour and the Liberal Democrats.In 2024 general election she succeeded Andrea Leadsom as MP for South Northamptonshire. Bool is chair of the executive committee of the Society of Conservative Lawyers.
