San Ramón, Chile


San Ramón is a commune in the Santiago Province, within the Santiago Metropolitan Region of Chile. It is part of the urban area of Greater Santiago.

Demographics

According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, San Ramón spans an area of and is entirely an urban area. The commune had 94,906 inhabitants, with its population falling by 5.9% between the 1992 and 2002 censuses.

Administration

As a commune, San Ramón is a third-level administrative division of Chile administered by a municipal council, headed by an alcalde who is directly elected every four years. The 2024-2028 alcalde is Gustavo Eduardo Toro Quintana. The communal council has the following members:
