Samarinda Seberang
Samarinda Seberang is a district of Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. As of 2023, it was inhabited by 65,796 people, and currently has a total area of 11.72 km2. Its district seat is located at the village of Baqa.
Samarinda Seberang was legally established as a separate district by a decree of self-government dated 19 December 1923 by Dutch colonial authorities, making it the oldest existing district in the city. On 14 December 2010, the district of Loa [Janan Ilir] was separated from Samarinda Seberang.

The villages of Mangkupalas, Tenun , and Gunung Panjang were created on 12 August 2014.
