SS City of Cork


SS City of Cork was a British single screw steamer made of iron for the Inman Line in 1862. She was built by William Denny & Co.

Maiden voyage and Inman Line service

After being completed and handed over to the Inman Line, she was readied for her maiden voyage, which happened on 21 March 1863. She would get 6 more round trips with the Inman Line before being sold in 1871.

Italian service

After being sold to Italy by the Inman Line, she was renamed to Mediterraneo. It is unknown what happened after she was renamed.
