Sítio dos Paines is a rural locality located in the Pains district, municipality of Santa Maria, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Overview

According to the Brazilian Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform, the region is part of the rural zone of the district, which includes multiple localities such as Passo das Tropas, São Sebastião, Vila Marques, and others. The area is approximately 133.61 km², which is about 7.46% of Santa Maria's territory.
