Players
Justin Armbruester
Justin David Armbruester is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.Armbruester attended Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish, Washington, and played on their baseball team. He played two years of college baseball at Pacific Lutheran University before playing two seasons at the University of New Mexico. During his senior year in 2021, he started 13 games and went 5–2 with a 3.58 ERA and 101 strikeouts over 77 innings, and was named the Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Year. He was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 12th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.
Armbruester signed with the Orioles and made his professional debut with the Florida Complex League Orioles before he was promoted to the Delmarva Shorebirds. Over innings, he posted a 1.93 ERA with 16 strikeouts. He opened the 2022 season with the Aberdeen IronBirds and was promoted to the Bowie Baysox in mid-June. Over 26 games between the two teams, he went 6–2 with a 3.85 ERA and 126 strikeouts over 117 innings. Armbruester returned to Bowie to open the 2023 season and was promoted to the Norfolk Tides in mid-June. Over 26 games with the two teams, he went 6-6 with a 3.56 ERA and 109 strikeouts over innings. He returned to Norfolk in 2024 and made 26 starts for the team, going 5-11 with a 7.54 ERA and 131 strikeouts over innings. Armbruester appeared in three games for Norfolk in 2025 before being placed on the injured list.
On December 10, 2025, the New York Mets selected Armbruester in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 Draft.

Ryan Clifford
Clifford attended Leesville Road High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, before transferring to Crossroads Flex High School in Cary, North Carolina. He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 11th round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. He signed with the Astros rather than play college baseball at Vanderbilt University.
Clifford spent his first professional season with the Florida Complex League Astros and Fayetteville Woodpeckers. He started 2023 with Fayetteville.
On August 1, 2023, Clifford was traded alongside Drew Gilbert, to the New York Mets in exchange for Justin Verlander.
Corey Collins
Corey Joseph Collins is an American professional baseball catcher and outfielder in the New York Mets organization.Collins attended North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. As a junior, Collins hit.483 with 16 home runs, before committing to play college baseball at the University of Georgia. In 2022, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
As a senior, Collins hit.354 with 20 home runs, in addition to leading the NCAA in on-base percentage. He was named a second-team All-American at the end of the season.
Collins was selected in the sixth round, with the 173rd overall pick, by the New York Mets in the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.
A. J. Ewing
Ewing attended Springboro High School in Springboro, Ohio. As a senior in 2023, he hit.464 with 37 RBI. He originally committed to play college baseball at Wright State University, but later flipped to the University of Alabama. Ewing was selected by the New York Mets in the fourth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft. He signed with the Mets for $675,000.
Ewing made his professional debut after signing with the Florida Complex League Mets, playing in seven games. He played the 2024 season with the FCL Mets and St. Lucie Mets, hitting.233 with ten home runs and 49 RBI over 90 games. Ewing opened the 2025 season with St. Lucie before being promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones in May. In August, he was promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Over 124 games between the three teams, Ewing hit.315 with three home runs, 55 RBI, and 70 stolen bases.
Ryan Lambert
Ryan Patrick Lambert is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.Lambert attended Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and played college baseball at North Iowa Area Community College, Missouri State University and the University of Oklahoma. He was selected by the New York Mets in the eighth round of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.
Lambert made his professional debut with Brooklyn Cyclones and started 2025 with Brooklyn before being promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
Nathan Lavender
Nathan James Lavender is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.Lavender attended El Paso–Gridley High School in El Paso, Illinois, and played college baseball at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 2019, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was drafted by the New York Mets in the 14th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.
Hartwig made his professional debut with the Florida Complex League Mets. In 2022, he played for the St. Lucie Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones. He started 2023 with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies before being promoted to the Syracuse Mets.
On May 17, 2024, Lavender underwent a variation of Tommy John surgery in which an internal brace was added to his elbow ligament. He subsequently missed the remainder of the season as a result of the procedure.
On December 11, 2024, Lavender was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays eighth overall in the Rule 5 draft. He missed the entirety of the 2025 season in recovery from surgery. Lavender was designated for assignment by the Rays on November 6, 2025.
On November 12, 2025, Lavender was returned to the Mets organization.
Nick Morabito
Nicholas Anthony Morabito is an American professional baseball outfielder for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball.Morabito attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C.. As a senior in 2022, he was the Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year for Washington, D.C. Morabito was selected by the New York Mets in the second round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. He signed with the Mets rather than play college baseball at Virginia Tech.
Morabito made his professional debut with the Florida Complex League Mets. He played 2023 with the Florida Complex League Mets and St. Lucie Mets and started 2024 with St. Lucie.
On November 18, 2025, the Mets added Morabito to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.
Jacob Reimer
Jacob Lee Reimer is an American professional baseball third baseman in the New York Mets organization.Reimer attended Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, California. He was drafted by the New York Mets in the fourth round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut that year with the Florida Complex League Mets.
In 2023, Reimer played for the Florida Complex League Mets, St. Lucie Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones.
Dylan Ross
Dylan Winton Ross is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball. He is currently a phantom ballplayer, having spent two days on the Mets' active roster without making an appearance.Ross attended Georgia Premier Academy in Statesboro, Georgia, and played college baseball at Eastern Kentucky University, Northwest Florida State College and the University of Georgia. He underwent Tommy John surgery during his junior year at Georgia in 2022. Despite the injury, he was selected by the New York Mets in the 13th round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.
After undergoing a second operation on his UCL, Ross missed the 2023 season. He made his professional debut in 2024, pitching in one game with the St. Lucie Mets. After the season, he played in the Arizona Fall League. Ross started 2025 with the High-A Brooklyn Cyclones, and was promoted to the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies and Triple-A Syracuse Mets during the season.
On September 27, 2025, Ross was selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time. He did not appear for the Mets during the team's final two games of the season, and subsequently became a phantom ballplayer.
Chris Suero
Christopher Antonio Suero is an American professional baseball catcher in the New York Mets organization.Suero was born in The Bronx, New York and attended All Hallows High School in the South Bronx for one year before moving to the Dominican Republic when he was 15. He signed with the New York Mets as an international free agent in March 2022. He made his professional debut that year with the Dominican Summer League Mets.
Suero played 2023 with the Florida Complex League Mets and 2024 with the St. Lucie Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones in May. He started 2025 with Brooklyn before being promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
Zach Thornton
Zachary Charles Thornton is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.Thornton attended Lawrence Free State High School in Lawrence, Kansas. He played two seasons of college baseball at Barton Community College before transferring to Grand Canyon University for the 2023 season. In his lone season at Grand Canyon, he started 15 games and went 9–2 with a 3.87 ERA. After the season, he participated in the MLB Draft League. He was then selected by the New York Mets in the fifth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft. Thornton signed with the team for $350,000.
Thornton made his professional debut in 2024 with the St. Lucie Mets and was promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones in August. Over twenty games between the two teams, he went 5–4 with a 4.10 ERA and 54 strikeouts over 68 innings. He returned to Brooklyn to open the 2025 season and was named South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month in April. He was promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in late April and earned Eastern League Pitcher of the Week honors in May. Thornton made 14 starts between the two teams, going 6-2 with a 1.98 ERA and 78 strikeouts over innings before an oblique injury ended his season in June.
