Russell M. Little
Russell M. Little was an American politician from New York.
Life
He was a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and took up his pastoral duties in 1831 at Columbiaville, in Columbia County, New York. In August 1832, he married Nancy Blair, and they had several children. In 1842, due to pulmonary disease, he abandoned the ministry, and became instead Secretary of the Dividend Mutual Insurance Company at Glens Falls.He was a member of the New York State Senate in 1862 and 1863.
He was President of the Glens Falls Insurance Company from 1864 until his death, and lived in the Russell M. Little House.
