Rudolf von Thadden

Rudolf von Thadden (20 June 1932 – 18 November 2015) is a German historian, university teacher, non-fiction writer, and philosopher. He was born in Trzygłów, West Pomeranian Voivodeship. He died in Göttingen.

He was educated at University of Göttingen and University of Tübingen. This person's employers include University of Göttingen, School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, and Leibniz University Hannover. Awards received include Commander of the Legion of Honour, Order of Merit of Brandenburg, Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Medal of Honor of Göttingen City.
