Rudolf-Ernst Heiland

Rudolf-Ernst Heiland was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party and former member of the German Bundestag. In the public, he was known as Rudi Heiland.

Life

Heiland was a member of the Parliamentary Council in 1948/49. He was a member of the German Bundestag from its first election in 1949 and from 1946 the mayor of the town Marl, North Rhine-Westphalia after WWII until his death in 1965.
