Rudik Mkrtchyan
Rudik Mkrtchyan is an Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler who competes in the 55 kg category. He is a two-time European Wrestling Championships bronze medalist and a former World Junior Championships medalist.
Career
Mkrtchyan won the bronze medal in the men's Greco-Roman 55 kg category at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. He defeated Denis Mihai of Romania in the bronze medal match by technical superiority, 9–1.The year before, he also secured a bronze medal at the 2021 European Wrestling Championships in Warsaw, Poland, competing in the same weight class.
Earlier in his career, Mkrtchyan won a bronze medal at the 2011 World Junior Wrestling Championships in Bucharest, Romania, in the 50 kg weight category.
