The 2020 United States census reported that Rose Hills had a population of 2,927. The population density was. The racial makeup of Rose Hills was 32.6% White, 2.3% African American, 1.3% Native American, 13.5% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 22.2% from other races, and 28.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 61.5% of the population.The whole population lived in households. There were 1,124 households, out of which 26.5% included children under the age of 18, 53.7% were married-couple households, 5.6% were cohabiting couple households, 28.8% had a female householder with no partner present, and 11.8% had a male householder with no partner present. 23.0% of households were one person, and 10.6% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.6. There were 830 families.
The age distribution was 16.0% under the age of 18, 7.1% aged 18 to 24, 25.4% aged 25 to 44, 27.3% aged 45 to 64, and 24.3% who were 65years of age or older. The median age was 45.7years. For every 100 females, there were 93.2 males.

Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1,647 persons.The whole population lived in households, no one lived in non-institutionalized group quarters and no one was institutionalized.
There were 1,016 households, 308 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 585 were opposite-sex married couples living together, 120 had a female householder with no husband present, 48 had a male householder with no wife present.
