Early life and education

Liparulo was born in West Point, New York. He attended Weber State University in Utah.

Career

Liparulo worked as a journalist before becoming a novelist. During that time, he met both Stephen King and Tom Clancy and both men encouraged him to write novels.
He was also a contributing editor for the American Christian New Man magazine.
