Raj Shamani is an Indian podcaster, entrepreneur and author. His podcast, "Figuring Out with Raj Shamani", has featured guests including Bill Gates, Vijay Mallya, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, MrBeast, S. Jaishankar, MS Dhoni and others.

Early life and education

Raj Shamani was born on 29 July 1997 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. At the age of 16, he became the youngest Indian to address the United Nations Youth Assembly. He was educated at National Public School and Prestige College.

Career

Shamani began his career in digital content creation with motivational videos on Instagram and YouTube. In 2021, he launched his podcast, Figuring Out..., focused on personal growth and discussions with notable guests.
Raj Shamani wrote a book, Build, Don't Talk, which was published by Penguin Random House in 2022. The book discusses the entrepreneurial spirit of taking action instead of just talking.
Shamani has participated in multiple speaking competitions and debates. He represented India at the United Nations, and addressed Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the National Creators Award in 2024. In October 2025, Shamani addressed the Sharjah Investment Forum–World Investment Conference in Sharjah, where he discussed the concept of "emotional ROI", arguing that trust and purpose can function as forms of capital for creators in the digital economy.
In June 2025, Vijay Mallya appeared in public for the first time in nine years on Shamani's podcast. The interview of 4.3 hours went viral and received 20 million views in four days.
