Quick on the Draw is an American game show that aired on the DuMont Television Network between January 8 and December 9, 1952.
Broadcast history
Quick on the Draw began in May 1950 as a local program in New York City, broadcast on WNBT on Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time. It was sponsored by the Vim Electric Company. Eloise McElhone was the mistress of ceremonies. Cartoonist Bob Dunn drew sketches, and a panel of four celebrities sought to decipher each sketch's meaning. The format was similar to the charades parlor game with drawings replacing miming.The DuMont version of the show featured cartoonist Dunn, with Robin Chandler as hostess. The format was the same as that used on the local version. It was broadcast on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 10 p.m. ET.
