Quercus spinosa

Quercus spinosa is a species of oak native to central China, Taiwan and Myanmar, in the subgenus Cerris, section Ilex. An evergreen tree, its leaf traits may be adaptations to altitude. It is placed in Quercus [sect. Ilex|section Ilex].
