Pyotr Vasilevsky

Pyotr Vasilevsky (16 January 1908 – 12 January 1997) is a Soviet person. He was born in Hornostaivka. He died in Kharkiv.

He was educated at Kharkiv National Agrarian University named after V.V. Dokuchayev. Awards received include Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of Lenin, Order of the Red Banner, Order of Suvorov, 3rd class, Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, Order of the Red Star, Order of the Patriotic War, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", and VDNKh gold medal.
