Puducherry Grama Bank

Puducherry Grama Bank is a regional rural bank headquartered at Puducherry in the Union Territory of Puducherry, India. The bank is established on 26 March 2008 by Government of India vide Ministry of Finance notification no.1/16/2007-RRB dated 26.3.08. The bank is jointly owned by Government of India and Union territory Governments & sponsored by Indian Bank. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Finance, Government of India. It was named after the great poet Subramania Bharati to honor him. It has 48 branches in Puducherry union territory.
