Premature Ovarian Failure is a scholarly work, published in 1973 in ''Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica''. The main subjects of the publication include polycystic ovary syndrome, follicular phase, menstruation, ovarian follicle, menopause, internal medicine, endocrinology, ovary, thyroid gland, medicine, gynaecology, physiology, premature ovarian failure, endometriosis, menarche, and ovulation. In the last 2 patients, however, the histological examination showed a quite different picture, viz. a normal stroma with numerous primordial and primary follicles and even a few growing follicles.
