In the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group classification of 2016, the genus has three species., the Checklist of Ferns and Lycophytes of the World placed all three in a more broadly circumscribed genus Selliguea:- Polypodiopteris brachypodia C.F.Reed

- Polypodiopsis proavita Copel.
