Geography

Pogranichnik is located to the WNW of Aksu City and to the northeast of Kalkaman. The village lies near lakes Sarykol and Uzynbulak, close to the northwestern end of lake Kalkaman. The Ekibastuz - Pavlodar highway passes by Pogranichnik.
