Philippe Courard

Philippe Courard is a Belgian politician of the Socialist [Party (Belgium)|Socialist Party]. Since 2024, he has been a member of the Chamber of [Representatives (Belgium)|Chamber of Representatives]. He served as List of [speakers of the Parliament of the French Community of Belgium|speaker of the Parliament of the French Community] from 2014 to 2019, and was a member of the Senate from 2019 to 2024. He was a member of the government of Wallonia from 2003 to 2009, and a member of the Federal [Government of Belgium|federal government] from 2009 to 2014.
