Peter Aldridge
Peter Aldridge is a Jamaican cyclist and cycling coach. He competed in track cycling events at the 1980, 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics, in Moscow, Los Angeles, and Seoul, respectively. He represented Jamaica in many events including the Pan American Junior Cycling Championships, the 1977 and 1982 Central American and Caribbean games, the Spartakid Games, Budweiser Classic which he won, Tour of Dominican Republic, Tour of Jamaica, World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Tour of Jamaica, Pan American Games, Trinidad International, Pan American Cycling.
He has hosted the Ted Gray Memorial Cycling Classic and the inaugural Peter Aldridge 2-Day Cycling Classic in Jamaica in April 2024 and 2025, encouraging cyclist of all ages, genders, and levels but has a passion for coaching young cyclists. He has been coaching Khalil Francis for 4 years.
