Personal Learning Environments
Personal Learning Environments is a scholarly work, published in 2011 in ''International Journal of Virtual and Personal Learning Environments''. The main subjects of the publication include sociology, on-the-job training, realm, logical contradiction, reflective practice, transformative learning, glossary of archaeology, epistemology, and educational technology. Thus, the paper argues against the prevalent tendency to base the conceptualisation of PLEs almost exclusively on Web 2.0 technologies that are currently available or emerging, while underlying patterns of control and responsibility often remain untouched.
