Pelecyodon is an extinct genus of ground sloths from the Early Miocene of South America.

Distribution

have been found in the Santa [Cruz Formation, Argentina|Santa Cruz Formation] in Argentina. Further remains have been unearthed in layers likely representing the Pinturas Formation.
