Palaeolyngbya
Palaeolyngbya is a cyanobacteria from the Proterozoic. Its cells are roughly 10 microns wide. Fossils have been recorded from the Bitter [Springs Group], Kushalgarh Formation, Rhynie Chert and Gaoyuzhuang Formation.- P. baraudensis Mandal et al, 1984
