This species has a carapace that is shaded and has a pale band dorsally. The abdomen is mottled grey and white.DistributionThis species is only known from Marlborough and Nelson in New Zealand.Conservation statusUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".
