Optimization of the solidification/stabilization process of MSW fly ash in cementitious matrices is a scholarly work by Alessandra Polettini, published in 1999 in ''Journal of Hazardous Materials''. The main subjects of the publication include cement, materials science, metallurgy, environmental science, waste management, incineration, pulp and paper industry, incinerator bottom ash, geopolymer, fly ash, municipal solid waste, bottom ash, and portland cement. Four types of fly ash resulting from different Italian MSW incineration plants and ASTM Type III Portland cement were used in this study.
