Ohun occupies a patch of gently rising land on the Yagba highland, with grassland vegetation and scattered treestypical of the savanna belt. The settlement sits to the southeast of Isanlu and is surrounded by small clusters of farmland.
Crop farming is the central economic activity. Households cultivate cassava, yams, maize, millet and cashew. Informal trading and small livestock keeping provide supplementary income for many residents.
People and culture
The inhabitants are largely Okun Yoruba speakers. Churches representing various Christian denominations are present, while elements of traditional customs continue in local ceremonies and family practices.
