The settlement is located within a savanna zonemarked by low hills, scattered trees and cultivated fields. Odo-Amu lies west of the Isanlu–Ejuku corridor and is surrounded by farmlandtypical of the Yagba upland region.
Economy
Farming provides the main source of livelihood. Residents grow yam, cassava, maize, sorghum and cashew. Livestock—mainly goats and poultry—is raised on a small scale, and petty trading supports household income during market cycles.
Population and culture
The inhabitants are primarily speakers of the Yagba dialect of Yoruba. Christianity is the dominant religion, while traditional customscontinue to influence family and community practices.
