Odie Leigh

Odie Leigh is an American indie folk musician from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Leigh is currently based in Detroit, Michigan.

History

Leigh attended Loyola University New Orleans, where she studied film. Leigh gained attention after her original song "Crop Circles" went viral on TikTok. At the time of the recording of Crop Circles, Leigh was living with two hip hop musicians, and all three made a bet for who could make a viral song first. Leigh released her debut EP, How Did It Seem To You, in 2022, and toured it with Olive Klug and Kevin Atwater. Leigh released her second EP, The Only Thing Worse Than A Woman Who Lies Is A Girl Who’ll Tell Truths, in 2023. In 2024, Leigh announced her debut album. The album, Carrier Pigeon, was released on July 12, 2024. The album was named one of "The best albums out July 12" from All Things Considered. Leigh was named "The Best of What's Next" by Paste in 2024.
